Previewing a soulful, jazzy EP from antipodean keyboardist Mark de Clive-Lowe
In anticipation of Mark de Clive-Lowe‘s forthcoming album, Renegades, the antipodean keyboardist is releasing the EP Leaving This Planet on Bandcamp.
The EP includes vocals from long-time de Clive-Lowe collaborator Bêmbè Sêguè and Sharlene Hector from UK dance outfit Basement Jaxx.
Dego from 4hero mixes the release, which features covers of Gene Harris’ Koko And Lee Roe (from the 1976 album Nexus) and Charles Earland’s Leaving This Planet from the 1974 album of the same name.
Renegades, Mark de Clive-Lowe’s new album, is scheduled for release in November 2011.
