Spin Down single preview – Brotherly

Previewing the new single by a duo that produced a Commercial Break album of the Year

Anna Stubbs and Robin Mullarkey (aka Brotherly) have released Spin Down, the decidedly funky single from their forthcoming LP Find First Light that’s currently being mixed at Flowriders Studio in Amsterdam.

For their new album, the duo say they have shirked their “dancefloor sensibilities to… create a cohesive long-play experience favouring surging guitars, and spiky string section lines”.

Their previous LP, One Sweet Life, is a hard act to follow; it’s a Commercial Break album of the Year. On this page is a sample of the new Brotherly single and forthcoming LP.
