Listen to samples from an edgy debut album by an East London native who’s penned songs for artists on the Def Jam and RCA labels
Having written songs for artists on the Def Jam and RCA labels, Lea Lea (pronounced ‘Lee Lee’) has released a self-titled debut album. And what an interesting mix it is from the East London native.
It includes everything from the symphonic Black Or White to the mid-tempo dub of The Road, which features the inimitable vocals of Horace Andy. (Non-reggae fans will remember him from his work with early Massive Attack.)
Lea Lea by Lea Lea will be widely available from October 7, 2013, on the Wah Wah 45s label.
